Windy City Riot: This all street contest has been around 23 years running. Its held in Chicago and it’s always been known for being gnarly. It’s almost a honor to skate in that contest even though anyone can enter. So many incredible tricks have gone down over the 2 decades by some of the most talented. They made $8000 this year to pay winners by doing raffles and donation stuff plus sponsors which is awesome.

At least thats how I feel about it cause rollerblading isn’t a very lucrative sport so thats impressive to achieve. Beyond the point! haha I again didn’t plan on making a edit so maybe next time I will just commit and try to do more filming. It was my 4th day walking since my surgery so Im still getting used to moving, standing and most definitely walking. If you’re reading this and one of the many people who came up and showed love I really appreciate the support cause it made me feel great and almost validated my trauma in ways.
Besides the point haha love goes out to all the skaters out there who still show up to these. It’s truly a really badass thing when you sit back and think about it (maybe blazed) Windy City Riot is a hard contest to skate in and everyone wants a piece of the action. Shit can get wild out there. So yeah all the people who put on Windy City Riot are awesome and I pat them all on the back because just like the intro to this edit. “I dont have any money” lol So I am almost done with this rant…or am I? not sure yet. let me think. umm…nah I think thats about it. Good times and I truly hope to see everyone there next year. Peace…or is it?… - Hawke Trackler.

We believe with the right team this is possible so we couldn’t be more thrilled to have Julien on our side.

Since then, Julien ventured into street skating, winning many of the top park competitions and competing against the best skaters of all time. Despite facing ups and downs, he has persisted, continually striving to achieve personal goals and dreams while pushing boundaries day by day.
We believe that Julien is the perfect fit for our brand. Not only is he an amazing skater, but he also embodies the right attitude and persistence to inspire and motivate others. We are looking forward to this new chapter with Julien and hope that together we can make a positive impact on the skating scene.

When you spend a few months travelling and skating through the country you sometimes have to cave in and join a few sessions at the parks. While you may think skating might define a country’s street culture in the paved avenues of the big cities, the skateparks of Mexico also have a story to tell and are still the place of good times sharing sessions. This one is for all the carnales we met.
Parks in Mexico are really surprising and oftentimes huge and vast dumps of concrete in some cities where only a few practice urban sports which usually adds to their volume. But meeting the crews of each city as we went through allowed us to share some great memories and even skate some hidden gems. For instance in Morelia where we met up with Joe Atkinson and explored a covered up SpaceBowl for a shadowy session out of time.
Be sure to watch the whole Chileros Video not to miss out on professional action since I loved the song to much and added a bunch of footage from Joe Atkinson, Julien Cudot and Stephane Alfano borrowed from other great projects like Foot Moon and Alfamor videos.
Skating from: Frai Gomez, Thomas Camus, Hadrien Bastouil, Pablo Ledesma, Marisol Tamayo, HoneyBee, Obed Mejia, Chaneblade Paredes, Angel Cocolero, Daniel Vallejo, Diego Lara, Jaime, Rubi Farias, Rafael Urena, Arturo Gomez, Kenya Maldonado, Efrain Mondragon, Jeremi Rodriguez, Enrique Zepeda, Joe Atkinsons, Julien Cudot and Stephane Alfano. Filmed in Guadalajara, Mexico City and Morelia, Mex. Music: Quantic x Flowering Inferno - Dub y Guaguanco ; Delinquent Habits - Fiesta ; La Bande-Son Imaginaire - Mezcal a Pleno Vuelo. Keep Blading it’s fun.

Before the Carriers Open I spoke with Julien Cudot about coming to Austin (Texas) to film a street part. The obvious deterrent would be if he got hurt at the competition. Not only did he win but luckily, he came out unharmed. After a week of rest he came to Austin and we began filming that night.
Julien is mostly known as a park skater and he knows that. His main goal was to show everybody he could skate street just as well as park. The section we made was filmed over the course of 5.5 days. I wanted to show a more raw side of Julien and try to get him to show more emotion (this was hard) haha. This is a small insight of the filming process. A lot of people helped make this happen and we appreciate all of you. - Anthony Medina.
