1 minute skatepark guide Cranbourne South - Station Creek Way Playground with Joe Stuart, Martin Gade & Hayden Golder.
The kids in Cranbourne South have been screaming for a free skatepark for years and finally the city of Casey have delivered. The first thing to note is that there isn’t a lack of space in this park but they decided to cram everything into a relatively small area, sometimes less is more. This skatepark has more lumps than your grandma’s custard.
The best part of this skatepark is definitely the long edge of the quarter as it has a lovely mound that is a pleasure to grind over. The proportions are just right. The coping is perfect with just the right amount of sticky-up-ness. The coping then has a seamless integration into pool coping and then into a ledge, absolutely brilliant, I must say!
B-Roll
There is a ledge that looks like two juicy thighs, I slipped out on the approach and there was a lot of this happening at this skatepark. You need to approach everything perfectly to the centimetre because as I mentioned there’s shit every were. I then bring you to the pump track that is in a figure 8 and then it passes through the skatepark but over to one side, thankfully.
It’s a cool little pumptrack and can be skated as a skatepark if you get a clear run. Kids can just appear out of nowhere. We had a great time here and if you are a local I would recommend checking it out. We give this skatepark 3 VBs out of the Six pack. - Joe Stuart.
