USD Team @ Abriss, Berlin (Germany) 2022. Eugen Enin, Michael Witzemann and Sven Ischen were at the Abriss Berlin 2022! As this years street jam didn’t follow the concept of a classic competition, there wasn’t a podium or prize money to win. The boys still had fun and managed to lace some cool tricks! Concept of the contest: This year, the Saturday street jam at Abriss did not follow the concept of a classic competition. You know the deal: 3-4 spots and a glorious winner at the end of the day. We want to do things differently: no podium and no prize money to win at Abriss 7 but a lot of awards given out during the week, instead.

We do this, because we want to create an event, that is oriented towards participating, rather than sitting down to watch others skate. We do this, because after a 2-year-break, we didn’t feel like continuing as if nothing ever happened – or keeps on happening and because it’s a hustle to raise prize money. This is an experiment, and we can’t fin wait to reunite and see how it turns out.! […]

The whole promo was filmed in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine, which is Eugen Enin’s home country. Eugen and Daniel decided to upload this archive of the filming process, not only to show the work behind the promo but also to raise awareness about the on going war in Ukraine. “It’s heartbreaking for us to see our family and friends suffer during these harsh times. Welcome at 14×41 a well flavoured and tasty non-profit collaboration of Sven Boekhorst and Niels Groenendijk. These two chefs serve a 3 course video meal so the next generation of inline skaters can start cooking their stuff.

Sven started skating at the age of 14 years, and today at an age of 41 he still manages to spice things up when he drops the heat. This meal is free for everyone to enjoy and is well balanced, like his steady grinds on the streets. Whatever your preferred flavour is: He has got you covered in this one: Vert, Street and Park.

VERT EDIT: Amsterdam has a brand new halfpipe and Sven Boekhorst blessed it with his signature style tricks. Technical liptricks and amazing control in the air. The taste of it is well balanced and totally up to date. Hit play and get started.

STREET EDIT: In a search for great spots across the Netherlands Sven Boekhorst and Niels Groenendijk found some heavy hitter street spots. Niels managed to capture a full part of banging tricks and process these into main dish that exceeds all expectations.

PARK EDIT: As an all-round skater Sven makes it all taste good. This part is probably the dish where he truly shows his skills. As a master chef in control, technicality and hammers a park section of Sven Boekhorst is always finger licking good! Check him at skatepark Area 51 where all the proceeds of the donations will go to stimulate the future of street and park inline skaters.
