It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Luke Rappa. Luke was a bright spark in this world and he will be deeply missed. He touched the lives of so many, and it’s our turn to give back to his family in their time of need. We are raising money to cover the costs of Luke’s unexpected passing. Please say prayers for his mom Stacy, his sister Sara and young son Parker during this challenging time, and please donate if you can, as these donations will go to the family.

It is with an extremely heavy heart that I regret to inform you all that sadly, Rich Breeds passed away in what we believe to be the late hours of Sunday night/ early hours of yesterday morning. He was one of the truest friends I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and life will never be the same without him. Not only was he a brother to me, but he was my hero. My deepest condolences to all his family and all of you that loved him. Shine bright Rich, just like you always did in life. - Mark Binge (Facebook Thread).

Adieu l’artiste. Rest in peace, Damien Gerard. Flashback: Ratz Time 2015-1016 by Lucas Spenle.
Our dear friend Dima “Makro” Makrushin passed away on the morning of August 11, 2021. He represented Russia on the international action sports scene, both in inline skating and newschool skiing, and was the great master of his craft. During his almost 20-year tenure in the industry, he released an endless number of video parts and edits, his works was highly regarded all over the world for impeccable style and attention to detail in both riding and production.
Dima was a famous person, yet he never cherished fame or publicity, they never were his goals. He was a sensitive man and rarely opened up to random people. Those who knew Dima closely and had intimate conversations with him noticed his kindness, ability to listen and a great deal of empathy he felt towards others — rather rare qualities nowadays.
Dima had a profound sense of existence — he never rushed, always carefully considered pros and cons. He always gave 100% in every venture he pursued. Working with him on video shoots was always engaging, rewarding, and effortless at the same time. He had a keen sense of humor: even in extreme hardships he never lost optimism and believed in the positive conclusion, sharing this energy with everyone close to him. His genuine smile disarmed even the sternest of personalities. Dima was never seen angry or irritated unless he was raging out on a particularly challenging handrail he was fighting that day.
Dima’s passing is an irreplaceable loss for his family, friends, his hood, for the action sports community and the world at large. Our sincere condolences to everyone who knew him. Вечная тебе память, Макро. Ride steezy in peace! - Boris Gaisner.
While filming for the video Julian Issac threw out his back and pulled several muscles. Because of that he couldn’t film as the much as the rest of the guys. Non the less he kicked out some quality clips. Thanks again to Ryan Stevens and J’BREEZY for filming some stuff for me.
Rest in Peace Julian Issac

Jan Welch is organizing a raffle to benefit the family of Julian Isaac, featuring the Art of Erik Burke and Chris Peel.
Hi, Jan Welch here. I wanted to let everyone know that I am holding a raffle for the family of Julian Issac. I still cannot believe that Julian was taken from us. Since his passing, my heart has hurt every day. I wanted to do something to help out Julian’s twin brother William Issac and his family. I am raffling off two pieces of art from my collection, by legendary rolling artists Erik Burke and Chris Peel, to help the Issac family with any expenses they may incur during their time of need. Daniel Skerzn in Lomax promodel boots , Barcelona rollerblading (Feb 2018)
In memory of Daniel Skerzn
Beloved son and friend Daniel Skerzn (Danil Sergeev) sadly passed away on Sunday 30 April 2018.
His mother needs your help to organize cremation in Barcelona, she does not have a visa and a foreign passport to leave the Russian Federation.
All the Russian friends help his family but we live in a very poor city and we can’t raise that much money.
You can show your support on Gofundme.com/danielskerzn.
I am at a loss for words. Rest in peace to a dear friend of mine, Keaton Newsom.
I remember being a freshman in high school and seeing Keaton in the hallways. I always just wanted him to notice my senate backpack lol. I looked up to him so much back then and eventually had the honor of becoming his friend and the opportunity to film multiple sections with him.
I had no idea he was in such a dark place and I wish I would have been there more…
Here is my favorite section we worked on together, filming this was an adventure and every session was a good one. Keaton loved skating, had such a passion for it, and really brought something unique and beautiful to the sport. - Kristian Payne (thread on Facebook).
Keaton Newsom - Ground Control Uprising (2013)
This is a documentary about Edwin Wieringh, a very talented professional Rollerblader who died too soon.
Edwin died after falling from his balcony on the 5th floor, on his birthday. At the time he was collecting clips of his skating in order to create a Profile.
He was also featuring in the Dutch TV show The Freestyle Games, who were kind enough to provide footage of him skating and most importantly of the interview that is the backbone of this documentary.
Edwin died on his 32nd birthday, leaving behind his family and friends. Rest in peace good buddy, you will be sorely missed. - Remy Cadier.

Ferdy was one of Indonesia’s best bladers. A person kind to everyone and who never complained despite being sick.
Through local and national competition Ferdy managed to bring the name of Indonesia on an international level at the Fise World Montpellier 2016 (France).
This video was shot at the Kalijodo skatepark, while Ferdy’s condition was still good enough to skate. RIP. - Hil Man.
