On May 20, 2021, I’ve received a mood board from Ilia Savosin for this skate; the rest is history. It’s with so much joy that today we announce Ilia as a pro team member. We knew he would have a spot on the pro team almost immediately; his indisputable talent goes along with incredible professionalism that never stops to amaze me. I’m thrilled and honored to be working with such a determined, creative, and thoughtful mind. I’m also thrilled to be working together today at what I wish will be a long and successful career. Also, a huge thanks to the Russian crew that kept the secret and shot a masterpiece of a promo. - Martina Marg, Creative direction at Roces.
MADE IN ITALY. Ship at the end of March 2022.

It was time to give back to one of the best people and team members ever. After almost three years in the making, this special signature skate sees the light. Grant Hazelton is one of the most candid, supportive, and positive people I’ve ever met, working with him has been stimulating since day one.
This is undoubtedly a well-deserved recognition for his dedication to the scene, for so many years scratching knees and elbows against the concrete, and for the courage to speak up for the lgbtq+ skating scene. You know, Grant, that the whole team, Marco and I, are excited about this. You also know how much time we spent talking, wondering, and working on this skate, and now that’s finally real, you didn’t even put them on once, because life is unpredictable, but as unpredictable as it can be, I still can’t wait to see what the future holds. Hoping I’ll be able to keep working together and being still blessed to call you my friend. - Martina Marg, Roces.
The boot is 96% recycled PU, the white part is 47% cornstarch-based plastic, liner padding is 100% recycled PU. The packaging is recyclable and 99% plastic-free. Made in Italy. Ships in November.
I’m very happy to present my signature skate from Roces. I want to say something really thoughtful and profound but I’m honestly kind of speechless and overwhelmed with positivity and love today, being able to share this with everyone feels even more surreal and wonderful than I expected, thank you all so much - Grant Hazelton.
So I got to spend a good bit of time on the Trigger Jeff Dalnas Pro Boot, they are shaping up to be pretty good. Now there are some issues with them that I lightly touched on, but I will go over those in depth later on. I just wanted to give you all a little insight into how these are feeling after about a few hours in these boots.
If you are getting foot pain you may just need to struggle through it until the padding breaks in. So just stick with them. they are solid grinding skates and feel really nicely balanced. I hope that you guys have a good experience with these skates. I will post a more about them soon. - Vintage Roller (Youtube).
Trigger is honored to present you the Jeff Dalnas Pro skates. The cuff molds have been improved to protect the buckles more efficiently on this new version of the Trigger Rainbow soft boot skates. The soulframe and boot molds have been modified too to perfectly fit the UFS standard. The liner has been improved once again to reduce the size of the skate and increase the comfort. The Rainbow Jeff Dalnas pro skates will give you the best experience, from beginner to professional, by offering the maximum in response and lightness thanks to his soft boot conception.
A slim and precise skate, with his new integrated liner completed by a double density insole, and a shock absorber for a smooth riding. All supported by the fast and light Freerocker V2 frame, fitted with high quality wheels in 58mm/90A, and Abec 7 bearings for your best feeling. Trigger will give back 30€ by pair of skates sold directly to Jeff Dalnas to support him as a pro rider. The production quantity is limited to 500 pairs. Weight: 1670g (9 US).
“Super stoked to announce my pro skate has officially been released!” - Jeff Dalnas.
Quoting Jeff Dalnas: “Thank you to everyone who pre-order the skate via Blade Supply ; I appreciate your patience and support! Shout out to Trigger Skate for getting these skates out as quickly as possible even with Covid setbacks and hurdles in our way! Thank you Matthew Rasmussen with the design work. Jeff Dalnas Pro Boot - Initial Thoughts by Vintage Roller (Youtube)
So this skate has great promise! It took a bit to get used to them, and the break in period is gonna be a few sessions to to get the comfortable. So no lie the first 15 minutes were pretty rough, but after a break and just chilling for a few with my skates on I was able to get past the initial boot pain.
I did notice while skating these that they have the weird Frame offset like the old Remz and you get the Remz lean while standing and pushing off, but once you get used to it, then you can fix how your feet positions on grinds and jump set up.
Overall these skates for a Pro Boot seem pretty legit and even as Mid Level boot would make a good boot. But for people just starting out, I would not recommend this boot. - Vintage Roller.
