The Israeli blading scene has enriched the world of skating with a plethora of influential skaters over the past two decades. Notable figures such as Avichai Wechsler, Yair Vinner, and Robert Spassov have left an indelible mark on street inline skating. Furthermore, the charismatic Leon Basin has not only founded but continues to actively develop the Wizard skating movement. Emerging from such a vibrant environment can be daunting, as the expectation to fill large shoes looms; however, being surrounded by a talented cohort may well be the catalyst for pushing individuals to excel even further.

Omri Baum has demonstrated remarkable progression in recent years, both in his appearances in front of the camera and in his work behind it. His contributions include a wealth of innovative content alongside his local XCCV crew and video-on-demand projects with Bobi Spassov. Exactly one year after the release of XCC.VX, Omri Baum releases another video of the Israeli scene. This video was filmed EXCLUSIVELY in the streets of Tel Aviv at night with a bonus skatepark part.

This is a video by Omri Baum showcasing the Israeli rollerblading scene, it was filmed throughout 2019/2020 in spontaneous sessions. The video is cut by areas and city’s in Israel each area has its own part, presenting the vibes and atmosphere of the Israeli blade scene and guests from outside of the country who came to skate and chill with us.

Daniel Deitch sent us an email awhile back stating he supported Fester Wheels, and believed in what we are doing for rollerblading. He included an edit of him skating as well.

We receive quite a few of these emails, we read each and every one of them. Skaters who support Fester are the reason we do this. He didn’t ask to be “on” or didn’t expect anything in return, nothing more than sharing his skating with us.

It’s rare we decide to add someone to the Fester Wheels Family without first meeting them in person, but something about Daniel caught our attention. We made the decision to put him on, and support this skater from Israel.
