I bought a set of Famus Wheels to get some more speed for the Ramps I was riding with Nitro Circus. Do they live up to the hype? - Chris Haffey.

People have been wondering why rollerblading was removed from Nitro World Games and I recently learned why. It had nothing to do with the fact that Nitro Circus looked down on blading. In fact, Travis Pastrana was the loudest person in the judges booth while we were competing.
The reason WHY we were taken out of the event was due of the outpouring of negativity that came from INSIDE OUR COMMUNITY via social media comments, etc. Social media analytics play a huge part in marketing today and the Nitro Circus team saw exactly the way rollerblading responded to itself. The numbers showed that participants in our sport had the lowest numbers in attendance at the shows and the highest response of negativity in the comments section.
Not skateboarding, not BMX, not freestyle motor cross; the blading community. And by the analytics, the obvious choice would be to remove rollerblading from the equation to improve their product. From a business standpoint, that all makes sense. We have literally ruined every opportunity that has been presented to us; both past and present. When are we just going to get on with it? - Dave Lang (Thread on Facebook).
Chris Haffey is one of the very best to ever put on a pair of Inline Skates. He travels the world with Nitro circus and I had the chance to have this little chat with him. - Ricardo Lino.
Claiming a 900 for my country, floating a 720, and taking a face full of resi after the head wind from the first half had dropped and I over shot the sweet spot by a few feet. - Chris Haffey.
Experienced my first hit on the mega ramp on the weekend. Doesn’t look bad but I’m bed ridden today with the gnarliest whiplash and friction burn…
Total REMing today :) It feels so easy when you land on this thing, however it’s a dramatic realisation when thing don’t go to plan. – Cj Wellsmore
Nitro Circus inline superstar Chris Haffey was joined by two very special guests for the two Tokyo shows on our quick four-stop tour of Japan.
Brothers Takeshi Yasutoko and Eito Yasutoko are aggressive inline vert skate champions from Japan. Inline fans will need no introduction to these two. Between them, they have won as many as 20 gold medals at the X-Games.
Takeshi holds the Guinness World Record for being the youngest X Games athlete ever ; he was 11 years old when he made his first appearance at the games in 1998. It was incredible having them with us, and we can’t wait to perform with them again in Osaka. - Nitro Circus.

I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to ride the Nitro Circus mega ramp when it was in Sydney last week on there Australian Tour. So i finished up after a full days work and headed out to the olympic park. It was definitely up there with the most incredible experiences of my life! Especially cause there is no pulling out once you drop in on the gigantic Roll before hitting the 50ft gap. ;) Good times! - Cj Wellsmore.
