Luckily my section was finished and we found a non HD render file in the hangloser dungeon and brought it back to life! Lit Up project were originally named Gap City in the beginning. Me (John Lönngren), Samuel Cabezas and Ayoub El-Gharib filled up the car to the roof with filmgear and traveled to Igor in Eskilstuna to film in early 2016.

The Idea was to light up 3 different skateparks in Sweden but school and other things came in the way. Later in the summer of 2017 me and Ayoub started to film in Halmstad during night time and the idea of LIT UP started. The thing is that everything have to be filmed after midnight to count.

This is Funcity, an abandoned water park in Varberg Sweden. Found this place on the web the summer of 2017 and got the idea of going in there and film some drone footage and do an edit.

At first I didn’t though about it as an combined art montage and rollerblading edit. Wished I found this place when it shut down in 2012 when everything were still fresh so the waterslides could be skated, now they are really sketchy and falling apart.
