San Diego/ Los Angeles California - November 2021. While traveling to SoCal to cover the tenth annual Blading Cup event, we teamed up with Justin Brasco along the way for another fun short piece. Filming with a broken hand and on a whim with last minute planning, I’d say we did pretty good with this one. The year 2021 marked our 10 year anniversary. The past 10 years have been a rollercoaster ride, full of amazing moments that we will never forget! Staying thankful for rollerblading, through the laced clips and bruised hips! We are fortunate to be a part of and have skating in our lives. Inline skating is a collectively unique lifestyle, where we get to physically express ourselves on obstacles normal society often overlooks. This year especially, I am overflowing with gratitude for rollerblading. And when I lace up my skates, I know I am not alone in my search for more undiscovered terrain in this urethane rodeo.

San Jose, California - September 18, 2021. The last street competition that took place out in SJ was three years ago in 2018 pre-covid and what a pleasure it was to be back out there. Three spots: Ledges, a shotgun rail, and a long classic spot dubbed as “the best worst spot”. As usual, the vibes were great and everyone skated really well. Shout out to Mike and everyone who helped organize and attended the event. The community out in NorCal is still one of the strongest. Cheers to the good times! - butterTV.
