Razors is proud to release the first pro skate of one of our most popular riders on the team: Stefan ‘Horn’ Horngacher. His first pro skate is also the world premiere for Ground Control’s Formula 1 XS frame.
Highlight of the frame is a wider split which provides significantly more grinding area even with a 4 wheels flat set up. Also, the axle bolts are deeper recessed and the H-block area is thicker giving the frame even more strength and durability. The maximum wheel size is 60 mm (outside) or 56 mm if riding 4 wheels flat.
The baseless boot design provides a super close contact to the ground and is much more responsive than traditional skates. The replaceable backslide plate is perfectly grooved and aligned with the groove of the frame.
The Horn skate comes with a new Razors liner with oversized padding and articulated ankle shape which looks your heel in like a vice. It also features Horns signature wheels and ABEC 7 bearings.

It also comes with the smaller axle bolt heads of the FLT2 frames resulting in increased material around the axels for even more durability. The frame will premiere on GC Pro Rider, Stefan Horngacher’s Pro Skate.

Razors Game Theory - Premiere
I want to give you an update about our new video project: Ever since tour riders moved into the Razors house, here in California, they are literally filming and shooting photos every day. I’m blown away daily by the team’s individual abilities and creativity.
Brian Aragon is without a doubt the most professional blader in the game, producing clip after clip, a friggin machine that continually gets the rest of the crew pumped and ready to blade… So smooth, so powerful.
Don Bambrick I have no idea how Don comes up with his tricks. His ability to spot and do the unthinkable on some of the gnarliest and coolest terrain will make his section super entertaining even to the outside eye.
Dre Powell has seriously stepped up his game, so stoked on every clip, landing most of them at first try, always laced with what I can only describe as chaotic finesse.
On the road to recovery, Mike Murda Johnson’s been holding it down and putting together a good number of hammers.
Stefan Horngacher’s footage is off the charts, his best skating to date, and we are getting tons of amazing footage from our ams and international riders. Everybody is on fire and we still have another 5-6 weeks of intense filming ahead. The video is promising to be of epic proportions.
Speaking of epic… the premiere will take place on Friday 13th in Encinitas, CA. We rented out La Paloma Theatre which is surrounded by inexpensive bars and perfectly situated for the appropriate before and after party. The next day (Aug 14th) is the SDSF Open a 4-star WRS contest with one of the biggest prize purses of the year. - Andy Wegener.
