Mindgame Accidental Machines: I won’t say anything new by telling you that I have been waiting for this flick for a long time. Together with 90% rollers around the world I was searching for any clips/ trailers/ infos about the premiere of this video. Finally, the DVD reached my player. Some time ago, I got the email with this message: " the new Mindgame Video is here, we got it!". At last! Three days later my friend brought the dvd and said straight ahead: “Dude, it is a blast!” I couldn`t wait any longer and pop in the disc”.

Eleven Years after the first X-Games, Rollerblading has found itself, fighting a war for survival, that has inadvertantly created the very history rolling was discredited for lacking by others. Barely Dead is the story of a global community of outcasts and athletes pulling together to explain and express their one unifying & interest : ROLLERBLADING.

First off, yes, Brandon Campbell was released by Mindgame and now skates and works for Blow and is a lot happier there. Hence, no Mindgame section.
Brandon was kicked off Salomon for apparently “not skating enough and not being professional bla bla bla”. So now you are thinking he got kicked off for not filming enough for the video right? WRONG. Brandon filmed a full section for the Salomon video that was so good that the Salomon owners in France (after firing Brandon) offered him 5 GRAND to use the footage in there video. Despite all his friends and teamates advising brandon to take the money and run he said no. he is taking all his footage and using it for his part in the BLoW video.
Now I’ve known Brandon for about 5 years. before he was sponsored by anyone, before any of you had heard of him. Hes had to grow up fast in the past couple years. Im not making any excuses for him, but despite what some of you kids think, life doesnt revolve around rollerblading. Theres girls, bills, booze, and lots of other shit that you dont take into consideration. Through it all Brandon still remains a strong person, huge smart ass, and a good friend.
This “industry” likes to take kids with great ability, spoil them for a year or two and then kick them in the ass when the next 16 year old phemon comes into the picture. If you like to skate thats awesome. If you like Salomon skates then thats cool too. who cares. But dont go talkin shit on boards about people you know nothing about. - Brandon Negrete.
