After spending many years on the road, Freddy White White finally settled down in Athens (Greece) last year. In January, the Latvin magician Kaspars Alksnis came to visit him at the infamous Blade House, and the pair used this opportunity to revive the old VX and explore the streets of the neighborhood for a dozen sessions.

City Check Athens - Alex Burston is taking to the road to discover some new places and to meet up with locals to session and have a good laugh. Good thing Alex got a new camera so he could share some of his experiences with you all.

Enjoy some of the worlds best places to skate, cruise and chill and meeting some amazing people along the way. In this first installment Alex takes us to Athens, Greece to stay for a few days/sessions at Athens bladehouse hosted by the Syeah skate family. He also catches Friday Night Skate with the local city crew.

From rooftop grind box sessions to dining-room mini-ramp fun, the Athens Blade house provided some good fun to be had. Cruises with the City skaters of Athens, zooming around the shadowy suburbs of Athens city centre, skitching cars on the GC tri frames was a blast.

A quick stop of at Latraac for some food and a half bowl session couldn’t go missed. All things executed by Alex and skaters in the edit was done at their own risk. Always have fun but always remember to be cautious and safe.

Part 1: Trip to the North Of Greece - PLAY

I am very excited to show you one of the best blade experience you can get in Europe. Nick Kouros the mastermind behind all of this and owner of Syeahskate and Athens Blade House organized a legendary event over the course of three weeks. It starts in the middle of august with a trip to the North of Greece. We visit the amazing DIY park in Volos and the Holy full-pipe near Trikala. After a trip to the North Of Greece we returned to Athens and had the most amazing day of the year. A crazy competition on the rooftop and handrail of Syeah skate founders Nick Kouros House… Followed by a lot of Partying.

The famous Athens Blade House competition has just finished. But people are full of energy. The best place to make this adventure even more special is to go to The Greek Island Andros. We are all staying at the legendary Blue Enigma Hotel that is located on a hill and has an amazing red skatebowl with sight ath the sea. We downhill our way to Chora (The port) and skate everything that comes our way.
