Before the Carriers Open I spoke with Julien Cudot about coming to Austin (Texas) to film a street part. The obvious deterrent would be if he got hurt at the competition. Not only did he win but luckily, he came out unharmed. After a week of rest he came to Austin and we began filming that night.
Julien is mostly known as a park skater and he knows that. His main goal was to show everybody he could skate street just as well as park. The section we made was filmed over the course of 5.5 days. I wanted to show a more raw side of Julien and try to get him to show more emotion (this was hard) haha. This is a small insight of the filming process. A lot of people helped make this happen and we appreciate all of you. - Anthony Medina.

I won’t lie to y’all, I spent the first half of the day filming the Inspin & Outspin Tutorial Video, so this one is going to be a little shorter than normal. But! We hit two spots and it was really fun. Well… One of them was really fun, the first one was scary.
Denny showed up to the handicap rail we were at and first try, no warm up did a fishbrain. It’s not a chill spot and you can get pretty hurt on it… as you’ll see, haha. All in all, a fun one. They’re all fun, even when they’re not. - Cody Sanders.
5th edition of the Street Republique Contest – Belgium Edition (Liège) - Girls & Men Competition. Featuring: Julien Cudot, Antony Pottier, Frederic Bukowski, Diako Diaby, Arnaud Gillet, Pierre Saporta, Armelle Tisler, Carla Pasquinelli pasquinelli and more! Filmed & edited by Kevin Ciman.
After a year’s break, here is the coming back of the Street Republique event, 5th edition, relocated to Battice, near Liège in Belgium. The park features a brand-new spot, the DIY Snakepark.
The DIY Snakepark was born in 2022 on the site of a former SNCB station. Antony Pottier, and the local riders’ collective in Herve began building a new riding area. It now features spots that would never have been imaginable to ride. The @snakeparkdiy features rails that turn, go up and down, a chain, slide bars on springs… Super-fun kinks and curves on rails, each as surprising as the next one. But the park isn’t even finished yet! For the contest, we’re building 3 new spots that will be used to chose the best rider on the day. We’re more than sure that the spot will allow you to express your creativity to the fullest. More Photos on Lastreetrepublique.fr.

The incredible story of a young boy who wanted to touch the sky, by sending his foot… to the moon! Do you know what Aggressive Inline is ? Have you ever heard of Julien Cudot ? He is the latest Agressive inline world champion! Lets discover the incredible story of one of the best agressive skater of his time. Julien has won almost everything, he was already beating the bests when he was just 15 and until this day, at the age of 30, he is still pushing the limits far from what has ever been done. - Vincent Romain.
Julien Cudot was in town and working on something with Anthony Medina. I warned them all week, “I’m still going to come out and film on Saturday.” I’m surprised we all got as much done as we did.
A few of the tricks in this were obviously left out because I don’t want to spoil what they’re working on. But in-between the tiny rail spot and the bank to curb spot, we witnessed some really crazy skating. For a day when I thought we’d be mostly side-lined and spectating, we actually all got quite a bit done. - Cody Sanders.
Episode 19 (December 2023) with Special Guest: Julien Cudot.
Episode 18 (November 2023)
I’m genuinely surprised we had a session this weekend. We woke up to rain and blazing humidity. But we decided to roll the dice and go to the meetup spot anyway hoping for a chance that it would dry. The ground was shockingly slippery, as were the ledges after some rain.
It would dry up just enough to skate and then drizzle again. The heat/rain combo was causing my camera lens to fog up throughout the day as well. It didn’t stop us from trying. I’m an optimist. I think even when we’re being thrown curveballs, it just changes the kind of fun we’ll have.
However, that’s only the case when it comes to spots. It’s not at all the case when your car won’t start. The second spot, my car battery died. The third spot, Andrew got a flat tire. And I had to leave early in the middle of the day for a dog costume contest. Somehow, we still got something done though. Congratulations to my dog for getting 3rd place in her costume contest. - Cody Sanders.
