This is Wes Phelan blading a few parks around the Dallas metroplex. He has more energy and motivation to go blade than anyone else in our scene and it’s a great thing to be apart of. Thanks to Wes for doing this project with me and John Sullivan and Jason Reyna for helping me shoot. - Troy Maimone.
“Plano (Dallas, Texas) is where it all officially started for me. 16 years ago, I was 13 years old and turned pro winning the ASA Amateur World championship at Eisenberg Skatepark. This was my first trip ever to America”.
“A couple of months ago, my brother Fritz Peitzner knew i was heading to South America for the World Championship, so he asked me if i would join his competition: Carriers Open named after his skateshop. […] We also filmed this street section all around the Dallas City area for 7 days straight”. - Julien Cudot.

I just spent a week in Dallas with Fritz Peitzner and what started out as work trip turned into one of the best skate trips I’ve had. Great vibes and awesome sessions fueled this into a really fun time. - Ryan Buck Strauss.
Rounding out 2017 is Jiovanni Brown from Dallas Tx. He’s the most talented rollerblader in our scene that you’ve probably never heard about.
We took it upon ourselves to flip the script and bring his skating to light. It has been a good year. Expect to see more of Jiovanni in 2018! Filmed and edited by: Troy Maimone, additional filming by Jason Reyna.
