I had a problem with my right shoulder and had surgery in February. Rehabilitation was a very very hard and long journey, but I was able to overcome it with the support of my friends and family. I’m also grateful that I came back here again. It was my first Sydney. I’m proud to have done this with Karsten Boysen and Dom West. Great cityscape matches their beautiful camera work. On May 20, 2021, I’ve received a mood board from Ilia Savosin for this skate; the rest is history. It’s with so much joy that today we announce Ilia as a pro team member. We knew he would have a spot on the pro team almost immediately; his indisputable talent goes along with incredible professionalism that never stops to amaze me. I’m thrilled and honored to be working with such a determined, creative, and thoughtful mind. I’m also thrilled to be working together today at what I wish will be a long and successful career. Nils Jansons is the only rider on the pro team switching between 5th Element and M12 based on what he needs to accomplish. So last fall when we started brainstorming for this new release, instead of asking which model he would prefer, I proposed to do both.

At first, everyone was a bit skeptical. Nevertheless, the feeling that having a collection instead of a single model for the first time would be cool, sunk into everyone’s mind. So, today, we couldn’t be more excited to present to you, everyone, the first-ever pro signature collection.
