Brought to you by @Sk8TL_Official | @RollATL | @Branders3n. Gravity explores the massive uprising of blading and quads in Atlanta. “I was first introduced to the idea of this project through our infamous Thursday night skates which have attracted upwards of 100 people all coming out every Thursday night to enjoy a simple passion. It was at my first Thursday Night that made me realize that Atlanta has formed this amazing community, someone needed to document it and share it!” - Brandon Andersen.
In association with @Sk8tl_official and @rollatl we present “GRAVITY”. Shot over the course of the last year and half Atlanta has seen a large uprising in participants from Roller Skating to Rollerblading, and Aggressive. Having become such a large and diverse community I felt it was only fitting to document it and tell the story that everyone can look back on for years to come. - Brandon Andersen.
Shot on Blackmagic Pocket 6K.
Filmed over the course of 5 sessions two weekends in Atlanta and two weekends in Charlotte. Matt Lyon and myself really put our heart and souls into this project!
We had been talking about doing a part together for a year before the first session happened. he had just wrapped his full length video SCRUBS and myself just wrapping Moments in Time eventually our schedules aligned and we got to work but, without further ado here’s “Charlanta”. - Brandon Andersen.
Featuring - Matt Lyon. Directed By - Brandon Andersen. Music By - Childish Gambino and S U R V I V E. Filmed on Panasonic GH5, Sony A6300, Mavic Air.
Tom Hyser was born into the Quad culture of the rinks around Atlanta and went from rink rat to skate rat. His family’s move to the Midwest was life-changing—He first discovered inline skating there. Tom is an original X Gamer, a product visionary whose designs have sold millions of units, an internet pioneer, and through it all he’s lived the struggle of being an inline skater. On the show, we talk about the love of skate, the hate received for it, and everything in between. The podcast ends with a laugh out loud “Inappropriate Questions” segment with Andy Kruse. Tri Tri-Rudolf likes to experiments with skates ; this time he borrowed a pair of aggressive quads, with functional h-blocks. Ladies and gentlemen, here is the best aggressive quads video, ever.

Previously: Trip to Blading Camp - Quads Week (2021) by Ragnaroll.
This past August I was invited to be a coach at the Blading Camp first quads week of 2021 along Bomba-H and Dread_roller. A whole week dedicated to roller skating in Malaga, Spain. This was definitely one of the highlights of this summer and I can’t recommend you enough to experience it yourself, it is totally worth it! And who knows, maybe I will see you next year there. - Ragnaroll.
