Artist commissioned by Loco Skates, Live Fully Now is a short film spotlighting the Roces M12 Loco V.2 skate and Revolver wheels. Featuring and created by one of skatings most imaginative and influential individuals, Oli Short, who has not been seen skating in nearly a decade.
Today this skater, artist, musician, continues to spread positive waves. Specialising in the field of modern neuroscience he now runs a private practice working as a clinical Solution Focused Hypnotherapist/ Psychotherapist, Oli is currently exploring the Neurological connections between science, skating & the brain.
“These days I see the motion of rolling as a mindful practice, a form of meditation. I like to call this flow state, ‘Freewheeling’. It’s my fast track into the present moment, into the now". - Oli Short.
The soundtrack to the film features one of Oli’s lo-fi home demo’s: “Coloured with gently psychedelic tones and rolling home harmonies, the wildly, untamed yet poetic sounds of the music echo Oli’s Skating”. - Lili Love (Videographer).

What if your wheels could be reincarnated? Engineers at our POWERSLIDE Bindlach office worked hand in hand with MATTER urethane specialists to develop a new concept of inline skating wheels that could help reduce environmental impact. The UC Earth 110mm wheels are made of Eco polyurethane which is 45% corn-based and features a natural milky look that avoids the use of additional color pigments. The reflex hub is made of 100% recycled material. The speed/bullet profile and the 88A hardness complete the specs to make it one of the first urban eco-friendly wheels.
Roller Squad is an action-thriller feature film, with a touch of British humour. Shot in London in 2020 with a low budget, “Roller Squad” is a project driven by passion. The production was made more complicated by the covid situation, but the empty streets gave us a great playground for the roller skating scenes.
The cast is a mix of: professional actors (Alice Sanders, Amy Newton, Benjamin McMahon, David Wayman, Elizabeth McNally, Julian London, Alexander Nicolaou, Natasha Moore, Jumaane Brown, and Morgan Sebode) and talented skaters (Tibor Babic, Germán Moreno, Pierre Esparsa, Aurora Garosi , Enzo Elias, Yineska Sánchez, Mark MacFarlane, Víctor Blasco Ávila, Alice Lean, Alex Juravlea, Adrian Pelayo, and Fernando Camarillo Segura).
Roller Squad was written and directed by Berty Cadilhac, and co-produced by Clare Cahill, the director of Photography was Bruce Melhuish.
Outline: A mysterious serial killer attacks the roller skater community in London. The police cannot catch him, as he is a very skilled and fast roller skater himself. A group of friends decide to take the matter in their own hands, and organise a man hunt across the streets of London. It takes a skater to catch another skater (IMDB Page).
The project was funded on Indiegogo | Visit Rollersquad.com.
