I was one of the owners of 50/50, the skate company that helped create the frame market. I never realized how much of an impact 50/50 made to the sport and how much I miss it today.
Last summer I started chatting with my old friend and 50/50 founder Jess Dyrenforth about the possibility of bringing it back. He dug through old emails and got me in contact with the original frame manufacturer.
After months of mould testing, I got a set of 50/50 Balance frames, fresh from the factory. Here they are, brand new 50/50 balance frames complete with Juice Blocks, fresh from the factory. I’m gonna skate them for the next few weeks to make sure they’re good, then if you’re interested, I’ll let you know where you can order your own set. - Lawrence Ingraham.
