I got a chance to catch up with Eddie after the NYSS Continental Plaza event in Brooklyn and we talked about whipping together something quick and easy during the middle of the week. We met up in Bushwick along with Chris, made a few stops around the area, and finished the afternoon at the Gantry Plaza in LIC. Good vibes and cool skating– “It was a chill day today.” - butterTV.

The Boschi Pope Skate Off is back in NYC for its second edition. When? Sunday, August 27 at 11 AM - 6 PM EDT. Where? 2401 Amsterdam Ave, New York, NY 10033-7349, United States. Prices: $1,000 First Place, $500 Second Place, $250 Third Place. Guest Judges: Mike Johnson, Billy O’Neill and Boschi Pope. 11am Registration. 2pm Start. September 2016: this past weekend, the Valo Phillys guys took a trip from Philly up to NYC, specifically the Boogie Down Bronx, to film and session at the first annual Boschi Pope Skate off. Article + photos on Themgoods.com

The first event from NYSS in 2017 which takes place at Continental Army Plaza in Brooklyn, NY. The format has changed which added tons of small prizes anyone can win through multiple mini competitions. Overall it was small, fun, and filled with positive vibes.
