Interview with Matt Osantoski, Haunted Co-owner
Originally hailing from Michigan but now a fully diversified outfit, Haunted Wheels has pushed up from the dark corners of blading to carve out their own niche.
Now with riders across the continent and the braintrust split between Mid- and Pac-West locales, the brand is ready to move into another phase as it looks ahead, surveys the past, and decides how to focus their efforts moving forward.
Co-owner Matt Osantoski took time to answer our questions — so here’s the skinny on Haunted Wheels.
A visit with the Denver crew is way past due. Recent events deem it highly likely that Denver will get some more scum, in the near future. To celebrate the exciting news, here is some footage of aggressive skating in Denver that was captured while still filming for the last SVZ video, Sorry America (full video: PLAY).
Featuring skating by Zach Pavel, Issac Parks, Jarrod Banning, Will Enzenaur, Joshua Broughton, Brad Anthony, Justin Chad Anthony, Scott Hatton, and Cody Lampman.
Austin Cooper started skating with us this spring, and shit was he hungry. The kids got some pretty smoove mooves, and truly gives zero fucks if you got a DAB or two for him.
This part really came together and im sure it will be the first of many from the DOOD. Visit

Big thanks to Ian Walker for filming and editing this one. Also thanks to Carter LeBlanc for the Seattle footage. - Geoff Phillip. (Video on Sellfy).
“One of the greatest to ever strap on blades” - Jan Welch. “Definitely great blading” - Eugen Enin.
Thanks Geoff Phillip & Graeme Wilson.
It’s tough to make this short. Ian Walker is the Man. Probably the single soul responsible for getting me back to Denver a few years ago, letting me stay on his floor for months at a time, and kicking off this 2tRILL project.
I have a lot of respect for this man, and I like to think we have a “similar” view on what good, quality, blading content should be. One things for sure, Big Walk isn’t going anywhere, and will continue to produce great blade art for years to come. Enjoy! – Dan Armbruster.
2tRILL, a 2017 Rollerblade documentary by Dan Armbruster. Featuring Ian Walker, Austin Cooper, Dan Armbruster, Tom Leong, Ian Forgette & Howie Bennett & many more. Filmed between January 2015 and November 2016. 2tRILL documents the less seen side of modern rollerblading, short grindz, good times & friendship.
