Although the widebody provides amazing soul space, ideal for stable switch-ups and cess slides, every single roller notices weak ability to press your foot to the right position for royale and torque tricks. That’s why I came up with this customization. - Filip ‘Casper’ Lederleitner.
I’ve been trying to create the best possible setup for my Salomon Chaz Sands skates. I decided to choose the amazing Kizer Horngacher frame, because of it’s outstanding groove and wheel constellation, which allows you to roll flat or antirocker.
This is where i stumbled upon a problem. Although the widebody provides amazing soul space, ideal for stable switch-ups and cess slides, every single roller notices weak ability to press your foot to the right position for royale and torque tricks.
That’s why I came up with this customization. It provides superb soul space, with great possibility to do royale and torque tricks to the fullest. Especially, when you like to bend on the trick, just to enjoy that shit in style.

How to cut your Widebodies - Hints
I polished the edges of the cuts, because they were quite sharp. This would eventually prevent the smoothness when switching-up from torques to truespins or backslides to alley-oop. One last hint: be sure to get yourself a reliable cutting tool. You don’t have to worry about cracking, the material is pretty solid.
Note: Colin Kelso obviously just took his foot out of the skate, so the liners are slightly pulled out of shape. They would normally be lower, to the point that half the shield would be obscured.
