JSRFMP is a free remake of the original Xbox game using the Sega Assets. You can download it on Gamejolt.com (1gb) ; it is free for Microsoft Windows. Note: This is the final version ; the game won’t be updated anymore ; the author (Screenracer) is working on other projects like a remake of Roadkill. JSRFMP is definitely worth a try before the Bomb Rush Cyberfunk release (if you’re into gaming). More infos below.
The Original Jet Set Radio Future (JSRF) is a 2002 action game developed by Smilebit and published by Sega for the Xbox; it is a sequel to the Dreamcast game Jet Set Radio (2000). As a re-imagining of the original game, it features refined gameplay mechanics, updated graphics, larger open world environments, new characters, a new soundtrack and multiplayer gameplay. The player controls members of a street gang that use inline skates to traverse a futuristic Tokyo, spraying graffiti, challenging rival gangs and evading authorities. Like Jet Set Radio, Future uses a cel-shaded style of animation (Wikipedia).
Jet Set Radio Future Multiplayer (JSRFMP) is a fanmade remake of the game, based on the multiplayer mode of the original Xbox JSRF. This game is not a mod, but a standalone game using the original art assets, compiled with custom code. You can either play offline or online.

Team Reptile is a pretty legit game studio. Their two previous games: Lethal League Blaze (2018) & Lethal League (2014) both have Overwhelmingly Positive Reviews on Steam and they have gained quite a huge following: the 4 previous trailer videos for Bomb Rush Cyberfunk almost reached 3 millions views combined (links below).

In a world from the mind of Dion Koster, where self-styled crews are equipped with personal boostpacks, new heights of graffiti are reached. Start your own cypher and dance, paint, trick, face off with the cops and stake your claim to the extrusions and cavities of a sprawling metropolis in an alternate future set to the musical brainwaves of Hideki Naganuma.
Franky Morales is one of the most iconic skaters of all time. I remember playing him in a video game when I was a teenager. It’s crazy to think that now we’re friends and have been able to film / skate together several times throughout the years. This is the first part of a longer interview I recently did with him. New clips coming soon! - Brazilionaire.
Previously: FRANKY’S WORLD - The Lost City (PS5) TRAILER - Franky Morales x Ulysse Prom.
Notes: By Blueprint coding, Franky Morales is probably speaking about the Blueprint Visual Scripting system in Unreal Engine ; which is “a complete gameplay scripting system based on the concept of using a node-based interface to create gameplay elements from within Unreal Editor. As with many common scripting languages, it is used to define object-oriented (OO) classes or objects in the engine”.
Franky Morales is working with Ulysse Prom on the game. Ulysse did a lof of kitbashing on Unreal Engine. Kitbashing is about using bought 3d models, to quickly create / prototype more complex environnement. Like using various buildings, roads, assets to quickly create a city ; it’s quite common in the gaming industry or even in movies to create storyboards, demos more effienciently.
Brazilionaire released another video featuring a fellow Rollerblader: Matt Ardine: Everything Everywhere All At Once, Childish Gambino and Rollerblading (Youtube Link).

Some of the ingame skates have clear inspirations (you can customize them):

The game is out now, you can check people playing it on Twitch. Visit Ubisoft.com/roller-champions for more informations.
