Special guests Cameron Card and Jimmy Hake takeover Minnesota! Proving their mastery of all things skating, Cameron and Jimmy give us a first-hand look at Red Bull Crashed Ice before shredding the Factory in classic Woodward style.
We also get a guest appearance from Johanny Velasquez, rollerblading young-gun and rising superstar in Freestyle Ice Cross. A HUGE thanks to Cameron Card and Jimmy Hake for providing us special access to this event and behind the scenes footage. It was a pleasure hosting you guys; we hope to see you two again soon… Woodward trip?
Ever wonder how your favorite Ice Cross Downhill athletes train for Red Bull Crashed Ice?
Join Roll Minnesota while we go behind the scenes with Redbull Crashed Ice racers Cameron Naasz, Maxwell Dunne, Amanda Trunzo, Andrew Swanson, TJ Aubrecht, Nick Croal, Kirk Thornton, and more as they navigate the twists and turns of Minnesota’s premiere bike park, The Factory (located in Minneapolis, MN). Filmed with DJI Mavic Pro, GoPro Hero4 Silver, and Sony A6500.
Dave Walsh has been putting down jaw-dropping tricks all year, and the time has come to showcase some of his 2017 highlights with a short collective edit.
Dave has been a part of Roll Minnesota since the beginning and is easily one of the nicest guys and most talented bladers you could ever meet.
This year was easily one of the most amazing and fun years of blading, and I think I speak for the whole Roll Minnesota crew when I say thanks to everyone who has supported us along this journey! I can’t wait to see what new adventures 2018 brings!
Filming Locations: Shakopee Skatepark, Chaska Skatepark, Overpass Skatepark, Superior Skatepark, Rochester Skatepark, Austin Skatepark, The Factory, Street Skating.
Say hello to an all new, freshly remodeled 3rd lair! Located in Golden Valley (Minnesota), 3rd Lair is Minnesota’s longest operating skatepark and one of the only indoor parks left in the state.
For this blading session, we brought out all the stops! In this episode, we brave the cold and the crowds (scooters and skateboards flying everywhere) to kick off a weekly blade session on Monday nights. Feel free to join the Roll Minnesota crew for a session if you’re in the area. Joining us this episode are Chemi Simiyu, Kenji Yee, Mike Garlinghouse, Dave Walsh, Chase Linzmeyer, Brennan Palony, Nelson Juan, Butch Lehman, Jacob Ferge, and Jason Hall.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! As 2017 draws to a close, I thought it would be fun to assemble some of my favorite clips from the year into a short collective edit.

Minnesota falls are as beautiful as they are unpredictable! In this episode, we celebrate fall break by touring several Minnesota skateparks, including St. Anthony where we get some revenge on the box that put Mike in the hospital.
While filming the week before, Mike suffered the worst fall I have ever witnessed in person, and he was rushed to the hospital by ambulance for head trauma. He is making a full recovery and is one of the toughest guys I have ever met! This video is dedicated to Mike!
Other skateparks we visited include Oval Skatepark (Roseville, MN), Sweet Roll Skatepark (Shoreview, MN), St. Louis Park Skatepark (St. Louis Park, MN) & St. Anthony Skatepark (St. Anthony, MN).
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! We at Roll Minnesota thought this would be a great opportunity to serve up some “Thanksgiving Leftovers” and reflect on some of the amazing memories we’ve shared over the years.
These clips, mostly compiled in the summers of 2012-2014, highlight the culture of comradery we share in Minnesota. Although most of these clips were leftovers, it’s great to finally share them with an audience!
Skaters include Dave Walsh, Chase Linzmeyer, Chemi Simiyu, Butch Lehman, Mike Wilson, Jay Davis, Mike Lufholm, Wilson Robinson, Marshall Hart, Shane McClay, and more. Thank you everyone for being a part of the Roll Minnesota family and a special thank you to all those that participated in the making of this video!
In this episode, North Dakota native Falcon Gott visits the Roll Minnesota crew for a session at Chaska Skatepark.
We also welcome back Luis Pineda, who is returning to the rollerblading scene after almost 10 years away from blading. Despite some occasional rain and some occasional pain, we were all able to get some tricks and enjoy some outdoor, fall skating before winter arrives. Special thanks to Emilio Estevez for encouraging our flying. PLAY.
In this episode, we join Chase Linzmeyer for a old-fashioned practice rail session. The skating lasted well into the evening, but fortunately Chase was prepared with floodlights and pizza. Once again, Chase and Dave prove why they are switch-up masters. Special thanks to Chase and Laura for hosting us! - Roll Minnesota.
In this episode, local legend Joel Johnson joins us as we travel south to Belle Plaine, Minnesota. The skatepark was anything but normal, looking like something straight out of a circus.
Despite the strange appearance and setup, we had a blast skating this park (lots of line options!). Afterwards, we stopped by “Minnesota’s Largest Candy Story”… will Nelson eat the chocolate covered scorpion? Watch to the end and see for yourself! PLAY.
