PARALLEL presents “TANNERY”. The Tannery AKA Preston DIY is one of the only community-built skateparks in Australia. Since the start of Covid-19, with skateparks closed across Victoria, many people have been making their way to the DIY. This has created a core crew that likes to get it done!! Due to stage 4 lockdowns and a heavy police presence, we are going postpone works for the moment but want to keep up the momentum once we can get back into it. Showcasing aggressive inline skating, “Leftovers” is a short film documented from 2010-2016 by Jarrod Thackeray, Andy Plumridge and friends.

Shot mostly in Melbourne it also features skating in regional Victoria, Perth, Sydney, Canberra and New York City.

After years of filming and contributing footage to other projects such as Valo Brands V and Jarrod Thackeray’s “ZIGZAG”, we were left with substantial footage that had yet to be utilised. We are keen to share this with you.
