Adapt Stealth Skates Review | The best skates ever?

Adapt is known for producing the most high-end inline skates on the market. Despite a few issues with the nubuck leather skin on my Russel Day Stealth skates, I absolutely love them!

I only talk about the points that stand out to me in my review. If you want more general information, I highly recommend the review of Cody Sanders on these skates. If you’re interested in the adaptbrand and their products, you should visit Adaptbrand.com where you can find all the info you’ll need about every product and the brand itself. Ordering products from adapt is only possible through their website. I can nothing but recommend these skates if you can afford them. They are the best skates out there and well worth the money. You won’t be disappointed! - Simon Studer.

USD Aeon 80 - Freeskate/ Aggressive Combo Review by Oli Benet (2018)

USD Aeon 80 - Freeskate/ Aggressive Combo Review by Oli Benet (2018)

This is the USD Aeon 80. It is the perfect combination between free skating and aggressive. You have 80mm wheels which is the standard on freeskates so you can still stairbash and do slides, but on top of that you can also grind.

USD Aeon 80 - Freeskate/ Aggressive Combo Review by Oli Benet (2018)

So you can mix in with your normal skate routes a few grinds or you can also learn aggressive skating without having to have 2 pairs of skates. It has got a groove and a soulplate and so you can mix in a lot of tricks you couldn’t do on a freeskate but also not get tired as you would on an aggressive skate, the perfect combination of the two.

The great thing is that you have 80mm wheels so it feels like a distance or fitness skate but if you see a little step like this you can throw in a grind! It’s a great way to transition from freeskate or fitness to aggressive (and vice versa) For example you can stall, find the plate, Then jumping Then you can do it grinding! So you’re skating, you find a skatepark, and then you go - Oh! I’ll do another trick! - Oli Benet.

Adapt Skates - Review by Cody Sanders (2017)

Fri, Jun 16, 2017

A lot of people have come to me with questions and interest over Adapts the past few years, so I decided to do a video review to answer a few basic questions about the skates.

Adapt Skates - Review by Cody Sanders (2017)

Forgive some of the out of focus shots, I filmed it all alone so I couldn’t see what I was doing a lot of the time. Also, the ledge wasn’t waxed and it was 8 in the morning, so cut me some slack, haha.

Oysi Frames - Review by Lawrence Ingraham

Wed, Jun 7, 2017

I haven’t been this excited about a new skate product in years. The Oysi (aka Oysius) frames feature a wide split, built in rocker and a groove to prevent wheel bite. They’re a dream come true, or are they?

Oysi Frames - Review by Lawrence Ingraham

I tried them out in the neighborhood then took them to the Durham skate park to see how they hold up. - Lawrence Ingraham.
